Hi friends! I promised that I wouldn’t suffocate you all with talk of only Christmas for the next five weeks, but alas, this is time sensitive so I need to throw this topic out there – Christmas cards. Are you a fan?
I’ll be honest, my love of receiving Christmas cards runs deep. It’s one of my favorite parts of December – going to the mailbox and finding those envelopes mixed in with the bills, opening them up, hearing from people we care about that we don’t get to see very often, and seeing how families have grown and changed over the last year!!
I have often tried to reign in how many cards I send out but I don’t know – there’s just something really special about this tradition of getting cards from people in the mail – although not quite the same as seeing someone in person, it seems a step up from well wishes broadcast via social media. I love religious cards, non-religious cards, and I adore photo cards! In fact Christmas cards are one of the main things I use to decorate throughout the holidays along with fresh greens.
(I hang all our own cards AND all the cards we receive. By Christmas the house is plastered with happy smiling faces!!)
So what I’m trying to say is – DON’T EVER TAKE ME OFF YOUR CHRISTMAS CARD LIST – and I’m not stopping this tradition in my house anytime soon despite the fact that I have a senior in high school and my mother thinks the statute of limitations for sending out pictures of your kids is when they go off to college. NOPE. NOT STOPPING. DON’T CARE. If you think you should be getting a card from us and you don’t, it’s probably because I don’t have the right address for you and your card from last year is still sitting on my kitchen counter 🙂
BEAUTIFUL CARDS & BOUNTIFUL CODES
Okay let’s get to it…….here’s roundup of some of my favorite sources for cardstock photo cards, and good deals you can take advantage of in the next few days and cross this off your list! (Keep in mind that you’ll be able to find sales and promos all through December so whatever you do, don’t pay full price anywhere!)

I just ordered my Christmas cards for this year. We had family photos done in October so I am excited to send out professional looking ones this time. I also love hanging cards in my home. It’s so nice to have them displayed where you can see the faces of people you care about. Over the years, people have definitely sent out fewer cards but I have no plans of stopping. It is one of the traditions I love!
