Hi friends!! Today my munchkins headed back to school after a week’s break. We took advantage of all the snow we’ve had this winter and headed up to Maine for a few days with our friends.
We skiied the small mountain Shawnee Peak, and also at one of Maine’s largest ski resorts, Sunday River. It was a great way to wrap up the winter!!
Sunday River has 8 peaks, and this is the logo for the one we spent the most time on – is it not perfect for us? Clearly we need a poster of this as part of the travel gallery wall!!!
We returned to find the fabric I ordered for our new-to-us dining chairs had arrived. I was so excited!! Until…..I opened the box.
Hmmmmmmmmm.
A small sample – YES. A neutral geometric to give my 80s chairs new life. However, when I opened up the 3 YARDS…….all I could think of was…….
PACMAN!
Huh.
…..
…..
Still thinking this one over!
What have YOU been working on this winter? Don’t forget the first Best Of The Nest party takes place this Friday – I can’t wait to see what you’ve been up to!

So glad that you had a fun trip and I love how you say it was a great way to "wrap up winter" – way to be optimistic! I hope you're right that winter is almost outta here! Stinks about your fabric not looking like you had hoped – maybe that means there's something even better that you'll stumble upon instead.

Nice that you got to spend some time with your family, skiing. We hope to head up to Vermont next month for a long weekend…not that I really need to see anymore snow! It is different when you are skiing though, isn't it?! Too bad on the PacMan fabric. Maybe you could do an 80's themed room – LOL!

What a nice break. I loved Pac Man, so I can see why you thought that.

What fun and how lucky that your kiddos get a whole week off! And I have to agree… that fabric is definitely reminiscent of PacMan!

What a fun trip. That poster would be a perfect collection for you. And I didn't think PacMan when I first saw the fabric, but now that you said that I can't stop thinking about it! 🙂

that trip looks so amazing! and i think you need a different fabric because i don't think you will ever get that out of your head!

Glad to you got to take advantage of all that beautiful snow! :)The poster is too perfect, you definitely need it! So sorry about the fabric, if you don't love it the re-stocking fee would be worth it?? 🙁

You deserve to enjoy Lisa! And it looks like all the kids are beaming with joy! Good for you!
The fabric looks great, funny you thought of pacman though, but hey, you know better and so good luck with the decision on your fabric!

Glad you all had a great time, I enjoyed seeing your pics on IG! I like the fabric! I think once you get it cut to chair sized pieces it will tone down… but if you don't love it, move on!

What a fun trip. The fabric definitely has a pacman feel to it, lol. I don't think I would have noticed though if you didn't point it out.
