In our last house we had several peach trees and they produced the juiciest and tastiest fruit! We learned lots of different recipes for our peaches while we lived there – everything from appetizers to entrees, salads to desserts. Peach salsa is one of Hannah’s all-time favorite summer snacks, so much so that when we returned from the lake today, Hannah asked if we brought the salsa home with us. We’ll be making a fresh batch in the a.m.!
Make sure you use very ripe peaches for optimum enjoyment of this recipe.
Peach & Apple Salsa
Ingredients:
2 large ripe peaches
1 large apple (I like Gala apples for this dish)
3 1/2 tablespoons honey
2 tablespoons fresh lime juice
1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
Stacy’s Cinnamon Pita Chips
Directions:
Peel and chop peaches and apple to medium dice. Mix with remaining ingredients. Cover and chill until ready to serve. The Stacy’s Cinnamon Pita Chips are not a necessary vehicle for transporting the salsa into your mouth, but I am a huge fan of them!

{If you’re looking for an “after” picture of the salsa, I regret to inform you that in the madness of trying to make food and pack up the car for the weekend I forgot to take one, so use your imagination to conjure up a sweet, fresh and satisfying summer salsa! My apologies.}
