Welcome to Mangia Mondays, the fun foodie blog hop I co-host with Kristin of Delightfully Dowling.

After hitting the market for Sunday dinner yesterday, I had tons of fresh fruit to pack in the kids’ lunches this morning. These ice pack cups that I keep in the freezer are great to keep cut-up fruit or a yogurt cold until lunch.
Check out the C.R.A.Z.Y. humungous strawberry I am surprising Seanie with today (organic too! How can this not be genetically modified?? It looks like it’s on steroids!) Bizarrely large berries bring my kids unending delight and I am already imagining him laughing his head off and showing his friends when he pulls this out at lunch today. ๐
Onto March Features!! Thanks so much for linking up all your fabulous recipes and food-related posts each Monday. As usual I am blown away by all the great idea sharing in blogland!
If you’re bananas for bananas, you’re not alone – check out these varied recipes calling for them!
Trisha at My Hobbie Lobbie shared her Monkey Business milkshake – all I can say is YUM! I bet lower fat frozen yogurt work work well here too!
Banana Cream Pudding was offered by Lisa at Flour Me With Love. How pretty is the presentation of a trifle? I am betting it tastes as good as it looks.
Maria’s Baked Blueberry and Banana Oatmeal from Shop Girl Maria is a great breakfast or snack that has tons of nutrients packed into it. It would be the perfect way to start the day! (And doesn’t Maria’s photo look like a magazine spread?? Bonus points for beautiful photography, Maria!)
Beyond The Peel is a blog dedicated to whole foods. If, like me, you’re skeptical of the prepackaged “healthy” snacks on the market, making your own might be the way to go. Check out these vegan, grain-free, dairy-free Chocolate Banana Power Bars – forget about healthy – don’t they look good?
Linda at Home Cooking shared Banana Bread Cobbler that my family would go crazy for.
Delicious-sounding Aunt Vivian’s Banana Bars (with cream cheese frosting!) was posted by Marcia at Frugal Homekeeping.
Of course, no roundup of banana recipes would be complete without a banana bread. Meg from Meg’s Everyday Indulgences shared a recipe at Life With Lissy for Oatmeal Chocolate Chip Banana Bread, a nice twist on the classic that I’m eager to try.
Thanks for sharing all these wonderful recipes! If you’ve been featured and would like a button, feel free to copy and past the html below on your blog!

Ohhhh! These all look way too tempting. I'm trying an all steamed vegetables for dinner diet the next few weeks. My spring wardrobe is too darn tight!
