LIFE, it gets crazy sometimes, doesn’t it?
With the big things, like two of my friends who lost a parent this week. And the little things that seem to snowball into a big headache like my car that has totally been freaking out, from tires to battery to weird unidentifiable smell. I’ve been working per diem taking care of the elderly sisters overnight, my kids have to be here, there, and everywhere, all at the same time, I have a special project due tomorrow, and I’m scrambling to finish up my One Room Challenge space. Laundry, food shopping, what? {To say I am amazed at the 20 bloggers who made over a room in 6 weeks is an understatement! Check them out, starting at Calling It Home; you will surely be inspired too! Tomorrow is the day all those of us who are linking up to the ORC share our spaces, so I’ll be back with the progress I’ve made on our basement.}
So it goes for all of us – some days, weeks, months are quiet and manageable, some are kooky and chaotic. It’s life.
I’m just dropping in here, in the midst of my own craziness, to say don’t forget to look for the beauty in the course of the day. Even when life gets hectic, even when there is sickness or sorrow or messed-up stuff that’s going on in your world, there are still blessings and joy and beauty for the taking, to brighten our corner of the world and to lift our spirits.
Check out these amazing photos my young lass took with her cellphone this week. We were in the car together, and honestly, I didn’t even notice this sky – I was so wrapped up in my thoughts that day – until she pointed it out. Thanks Hannah, and thank you God, for this little slice of amazingness!!
And while I’m at it, I must share this heartwarming short video with you that has absolutely nothing to do with seeking the bright side of life, but it’s so worth a watch!
Wishing you a beautiful day!

Inspite of and despite of everything, you still manage to write this, share your beautiful pics and get going again for more tomorrow – you are an amazing lady Lisa, these pictures alone makes me feel relaxed, so you should too! Would love to see these framed up somewhere! Don't forget to tell that to Hannah!

So beautiful and so true. I loved the video. We are all overbooked here, and I don't like it. I was not overbooked when I was my kids age. I want all of it to slow down. Thanks for the reminder. Can't wait to see your room.

That is exactly why I love to take a walk or run outside everyday – it's hard not to focus on the beauty and get re-energized! You know I always love your positive perspective! Thanks Hannah, your photos are awesome! 🙂
