I have been meaning to post about this topic so you moms of little ones could hurry over to the Target clearance section and scoop up everything Halloween-related at 75% off!
When my son Sean turned 4, I had a Halloween birthday party for him. In May.
This is one birthday party my now-8 year old remembers vividly!
The guests received Halloween-themed invitations for a Halloween-in-May party, costume encouraged but not required. Of course a bunch of 3 and 4 years olds jumped at the chance to wear their costumes again!
They bobbed for “ghosts” hung from the swingset….

had a go at the pinata….

and ate creepy spider cupcakes.
Here they are in disguise to protect their anonymity!
Oh that baby face!
There are so many great Halloween party decorations on clearance right now – it’s a great time to stock up!
I had leftover plates, cups and napkins from the previous Halloween, but you could also do treat bags, decorate your house with spiderwebs – you know, the whole nine yards.
You could serve these….
Photo: unknown source, but it looks like Martha.
and send guests home with one of these….
