I owe you a post about how to install seagrass runners.
I’ve also made promises, promises about roman shade a-makin’ from mini blinds.
Real Kitchen Renovations? Got some up my sleeve, coming soon to a blog near you.
Shine Kids – fun projects for your munchkins? Oh we’ve got some around here to tell you about.
This week I was called in to work 3 nights. I take care of two elderly sisters (99 and 101!) in their home on a per diem basis – I fill in for the regular home health aides as needed, usually a few times a month. Three overnights at work + children home for summer vacation = not enough sleep. I can’t say no because I’ve got football cleats and back-to-school clothes to buy, and you know, a kitchen to renovate, but sadly, the first thing to suffer is my little blog here. So hang in there – the seagrass stair runner tutorial is coming soon, pinky swear!
In the meantime, I wanted to share with you some beautiful coastal-inspired art I am lusting after for my parents-in-law’s new home. I’ll be sharing their new pad with you in September, along with how we’re going to use some of the furnishings they’ve had for decades in a fresh new way. Fabric and art selection has been in the works this summer and we’re having so much fun with it!

If I make it to 99, I hope I have someone as wonderful as you to look after me. Love the coastal vibe of the art. I hate how expensive sports equipment is. We just bought new tennis shoes and a racket…it felt like a racket ๐
