Welcome to Kitchen Dreaming, a series dedicated to all the ins-and-outs of kitchen design.
What do you think about two tones of cabinetry in a kitchen? Do you have it in your own kitchen?
I think two tones break up an expanse of cabinetry and bring some visual interest to a space.
A contrasting cabinet color can be used on an island, or on upper or lower cabinets.
This is my favorite one…..I love how the wood warms up a white kitchen!
I’ve been thinking about whether I want to do two tones of cabinetry, or two different countertops, one for the perimeter and one for the island perhaps. The silver lining of having a little time until we get to this project is that I can mull over all these options!
Tell me, what do you think about two tones of cabinets in a kitchen, and if you have it, would you do it again?? I’d love to know your thoughts!
