Now that I finally have a dining table that suits our needs, I am done obsessing over that and have moved on to dining chairs. Lucky you 🙂
This was my vision for the dining area of our house, which will *someday* be part of the kitchen. It needs to have the ability to be super casual, and also fancy schmancy as needed, since it is our one and only dining table.
So far we have a new table and the two slipcovered host chairs, and we’re using the bench I made for seating until I score some new chairs. Down the road I plan on using the bench as extra seating when we have a crowd, but for now it’s doing the trick.
Those black chairs that you see above have GOT TO GO. They’re from my original kitchen set, and have seen more wood glue and paint than any piece of furniture should have to endure. It’s time to retire them.
With the holidays quickly approaching, do you have dining chairs on the brain too?? Here are a few options that are striking my fancy lately. What strikes yours??
Bentwood Chairs With Rush Seats.
The chairs from my mood board were found on Overstock, 2 for $158, but they are currently out of stock. I love the style of them with the bent x-back and rush seats. The same style chair is on sale at Kirkland’s online for $69 (for 1) as of today.
The Delaney Rattan Chair from Pottery Barn is currently on sale for $99.99 (that .99 at the end means they are on clearance and can’t be returned.)
Edgy, cool, modern, fun, easy to clean.
Armchairs for $118…..
or a set of 2 sidechairs for $197.
The Ikea Hendriksdal side chair is currently on sale in the store only for $69. This is such a versatile piece – you can totally change up the look depending on the slipcover style.
There are so many different chair styles; these are just a few styles and deals that caught my eye recently.
