Christmas Goodies:: Puppy Chow

Have you ever eaten Puppy Chow before?

No silly, not Puppy Chow for puppies, Puppy Chow for humans!

So easy, so fun for the kiddos, so perfect for breakfast Christmas goody bags!!

Ingredients:
1/2 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
1/4 cup peanut butter*
4 1/2 cups cereal squares (Chex, Crispix and Puffins all work great for this recipe!)
3/4 cup confectioner’s sugar

Directions:
In a large saucepan over low heat, melt the chocolate chips. Add peanut butter and mix until smooth. Remove from heat, add cereal and stir until coated. Pour powdered sugar into a large plastic bag, add cereal and shake until well coated. {Store in an airtight container.}

*Nut allergies in your crowd? Replace the peanut butter with 2 tablespoons of butter. Remember to check your chocolate chips and cereal to make sure they don’t have trace amounts of nuts.

I used these Cinnamon Puffins that I had in our pantry and they are perfect.
Maybe you already have a cereal on hand that you can use.
Ooey gooey chocolatiness.

Licking the spoon is required of course…..

….then shake!!!

Puppy Chow sits nice and still for bokeh attempts.

The children, however, do not. Ahhh well, they’re cute, I’ll keep them!

Chow away, friends.

What’s one or two? Or a whole bowlful?? I mean they’re almost healthy with all that cereal under there, right??

If you’re looking for more Christmas treats, check out my Pretzel Fudge recipe from last year or come with me to….

Thanks for hosting, Karianne and Natasha!
A very Merry Christmas season to all!

One thing I also believe is credit cards giving a 0% apr often appeal to consumers with zero interest, instant approval and easy over-the-internet balance transfers, however beware of the main factor that can void the 0% easy neighborhood annual percentage rate and throw one out into the bad house in no time..

Fabulous. Aw, this was a really quality post. In theory I'd like to write like this too - taking time and real effort to make a good article... but what can I say... I procrastinate alot and never seem to get something done..
