My friends, I have such an easy project for you that is easy to accomplish, and the organization will make you happy on a daily basis!
Y’all remember the jewelry board I made once upon a time?
However, I still need storage for heavier pieces and earrings. When I started making over my room I thought I would put all these odds and ends on my new little vanity table, but it’s just too petite for much storage, so instead I cleaned out a whole drawer in my bureau and reorganized it for jewelry.
Now my lighter necklaces and bracelets still hang on the jewelry board, and the rest is stored in here for easy access.
I pieced together storage containers that I found around the house. The wooden cigar box in the back of the drawer is Mark’s (defumigated by placing dryer sheets in it until the smell disappeared).
Both of these divided containers below were swiped from my daughter. The pink one is from a broken jewelry box (you know the one…where you wind it up, open it and the princess spins around as it plays music??) and the white one is from a bead kit that was used up long ago.
I have the notion to paint all the containers some kind of wildly fun color, like the hot pink in Hannah’s closet, if Mother Nature gives me some spray painting weather. In the meantime, it’s so nice having everything in one spot, all organized!
