BEST OF Best of the Nest

Hi there.  Are we still friends after I contributed the most wordy, nerdy blog post ever to the internets yesterday?  If you couldn't tell, I've been living and breathing built in bookcases for the last month or so, and analyzing ever speck of labor and cost.  If you want to know every last detail about the headache and wallet-ache of building bookcases the Ikea way or the "real" way, this one's for you.  If not, thanks for coming back despite all that number crunching.  Phew.  I'm exhausted just thinking about it.

Let's talk pretty, shall we????

April's Best of the Nest had some truly gorgeous link ups!!  Here are a few that blew me away.
Don't miss the features of my fab co-hosts either - there were some amazing ones this month!
Kris at Driven By Decor  \  Pam at Simple Details  \  Jennifer at Dimples and Tangles

This stenciled accent wall (along with the campaign dresser and Habitat/thrift store finds) by Shannon at Burlap and Lace.  Amazing, right?

Elisa of Fancy Free Me's Ikea shelving unit that she painted for her newly refreshed kitchen, it's just perfect for that sunny spot.

Cassie of Primitive and Proper's  kitchen backsplash of this stunning recycled glass tile.  I couldn't love it more, especially with the navy blue cabinets!

Last but not least, an entire kitchen remodel not to be missed.  Emily of Eleven Gables shared her beautiful new space and I am still swooning over every last inch of it.

If you don't have a blog, you can also link up to BOTN via Pinterest or Instagram.
Our Instagram feature for April is
@theresemariedesigns !
Therese made this fun jacket for herself….
and she also has an Etsy shop where she sells modern pillows in unique designs!

Thanks to everyone who linked up to share and inspire!
If you've been featured, be sure to grab a button!
Shine Your Light
May's Best of the Nest link party will be held on the last Friday of the month - May 30.  Mark your calendars and then come on back and show off your favorite project!  I can't wait to see what you've got going on.

Enjoy your weekend my lovelies…..hope some sunshine is headed your way!

ElevenGables' post inspired me to march downstairs to my basement, grab a runner from a spot where it made little sense, and put it in front of the sink in my kitchen. Good idea, Emily.
