First Snow, And The Third Day Of Christmas Tour

Sweet friends, thank you all so much for your very kind and generous comments on our holiday home tour yesterday.  You warm my heart.  We feel like we're in a bit of a transitional phase in our house - all the peach paint from the former owner is gone, but we have yet to embark on some big changes that we envisioned when we bought this diamond-in-the-rough.  By sharing our home I HOPE that I might encourage someone - somewhere - to feel that a home doesn't necessarily have to be grand to be festive and joyful in the Christmas season!

Here in Massachusetts we received our first real blanket of snow yesterday.  This morning, the sun is shining on the fresh snow, the birdies are singing, and it's just about the most glorious and lovely start to the day ever!!!  Please remind me how much I enjoyed this first snowfall in February and March when it just.won't.go.away.  Thank you :)

Today you are in for a treat - Amanda at Dixie Delights is sharing her gorgeous home tour!  Every room is beautiful - my favorite being her new back porch complete with a fireplace and cocoa bar!

Don't miss this dreamy home!  Click this link to take the tour and enjoy.

I am loving our first snow of the season too. School was cancelled and the girls and I had one of those rare days where we stayed in PJs all day. Heaven!

I love living on the Alabama coast, but when I see others getting pretty snow this time of year, I 'm sort of sad we don't have it too! It's cold here today (to us) a chilling 58°.

Such beautiful photography.
