First off, we opted out of getting a new front door for a trip to San Antonio, Texas.
If you're visiting San Antonio anytime soon, check out this post on a great restaurant we enjoyed there.
One to remember for next year: Christmas card photos turned into cell phone contacts. {I am so glad I did this - it makes me smile every day!}
A signature style board inspired by the amazing Darlene at Fieldstone Hill. {If you'd like to create a signature style board too, Darlene will post it to her Pinterest board! Check out her post here.}
A much needed refresh for my teeny corner of the blogosphere by the fabulous Elizabeth of TMC Designs.
Backing up a blogger blog. (Do it today if you haven't already!)

A new vanity stool for my baby girl's room:
While I told you I was going to tackle the insane asylum also known as my basement, instead I crossed something else off the 2013 Goals list:

Namely, Gentleman's Gray!
More on this exciting development next week! I know you're on the edge of seat!!

First of all, your black french doors are looking fantastic. So dramatic! Also, I'm really digging Gentleman's Gray and I can't wait to see how it turns out.
You have been busy...love this recap. I think I only missed your San Antonio trip...love seeing the black doors.
Oh, those doors are killer, worth every minute no matter how long it takes! Can't wait to see those rich, moody walls, I think it's a prerequisite for diy bloggers to be able to change projects midstream! :)
I've used Gentleman's Gray and love it! Can't wait to see it in your room. You've been a crazy busy woman this year and it's only January. ha! Slow down, girl, you're making the rest of us look bad. ;)
Ooh, I love that paint color! Can't wait to see what you do with it.
