Well the Christmas festivities and bidding adieu to 2012 are behind us
(and oh what fun they were!!!)
And now - it's time.
Time to lay down some plans for this great big beautiful hope filled year that looms in front of us.
Bear with me - this list is all over the place. There is so much I want to challenge myself to do this year!!!
And as you will see, some of these will be easier to accomplish than others.
So here they are, my
Re-learn how to use a sewing machine.
Sew curtains for the living room. Pillows for the bedroom. Lots of other cool stuff.
Board and batten. Board and batten. Board and batten.
Go for a walk every single day.
Make our basement awesome.
Write more handwritten notes.
Build living room floor to ceiling bookcases.
Drink less coffee/drink more water.
Don't let adolescent angst bring me down.
Look the other way about messy bedrooms, and laugh with my kids more.
Actually finish refinishing 3 pieces of furniture in my garage.
Go sledding with my kids.
Paint my bedroom a dramatic color.
Go to bed earlier.
Learn some new carpentry skills and master angles.
Attempt crown molding.
Update my projects page and before and afters.
Sledgehammer foyer tile.
Install a runner on the stairs.
Schedule dates with my girlfriends.
Paint the inside of my front door black.
Take less house pictures/more kid pictures.
Show you my DIY roman shades/mounted and framed map/madeover thrift store lamps/dreamy kitchen plan.
Love my peeps. Cherish each day. Choose happy even when life is messy.
Stop trying to be less sappy, and shine my sappy, corny, sentimental light all over the place!
