The only way to make sense out of change is to plunge into it, move with it, and join the dance.

I feel change all around me these days, from my kids growing up at an exponential rate, to Mark starting a new job, to our parents retiring. And never mind our house - now that is a study in change.
Change is on the horizon around here in big and little ways, but then again, isn't it always on the horizon for every one of us?
The thing about change is that sometimes it throws everything in your nicely organized life right out of whack. Sometimes it's necessary to reassess and adjust and make the best decisions for what is working and what isn't. Even us Superwomen need to let some things go once in a while. To me, balance = happiness.

And man, the changes in our life have me craving some balance. Something's gotta give and for me right now that would be the Before & After parties that I so enjoy hosting. As much as I have ADORED watching so many of you get motivated to start a project and make some progress, I feel like I just can't devote the kind of time to the B&As that I want to, and rock motherhood, help our parents move into the next phase of their lives, and maybe even earn a paycheck.
That's where you come in!! If you're interested in taking over the Before & After parties I'd be thrilled to pass them on to you! Email me at lscibilia@verizon.net for more information.
AND!!! AND!!! Giving up the B&As means that I can finally host some random linky parties that have been floating around in this brain, starting with one to compile all the fabulous ways to use the one and only……..
Are you in?? Do you have a project that you used Rub 'n Buff on? I can't believe all the amazing projects I see using this product and I think it's high time we put them into one spot, don't you?
Join me next Thursday, September 13 to link up Rub 'n Buff projects and check out some amazing transformations using this little tube of wonder. Linky button in the works.
Happy weekend all!

I wish I could take it over for you but I am just not organized enough!!!! Change gets so much harder as you get older:)
I am in the same predicament as you, just the circumstances are a little different. I have a few rubnbuff projects bouncing around in my head but I have yet to go and buy the stuff. Hope to get to it this weekend!

Oh change is hard isn't it. Dealing with so much change right now but it makes us who we are. I wish I could take over the party for you but I can barely keep up over here. I haven't used the rub in buff in awhile hmm... you have me thinking. Enjoy your weekend.
XO
I'm a weirdo...I love change. I actually crave it. It makes my family scared sometimes, I'm sure. I look at it like, "Wow, how's God going to grow us through this one?!" It's fun to see His hands at work.
Your in-laws and your mom could be moving in with you! :) What a great idea for a party, I've had this Rub 'n Buff idea in my brain for awhile, but it would mean 'changing' my diy project priorities!
change is good, for the most part, right? and no worries on giving up the party! if i didn't already host my own i would take it over for you- but i am totally looking forward to a rub n buff party. oh yeah. bling it on. har dee har.
I'm totally in for the R&B party, great idea! It's so tough when it feels like everything is changing, and you're right...kids grow up way too fast! I think your living room looks fantastic, by the way. Don't worry about the parties, we just want to keep seeing your great projects!
Beautiful post today!! Change sure does make life fun! Lots of great changes in your living room.
I'm not at all good with change, although it has always worked out well in the end for me :)
I've got a couple of rub n buff projects to share. good idea!
I'll miss the before and after party here but totally understand when something needs to go. Good for you for making the hard decision, I'm sure it will be good in the end. How funny, I just started rubbing and buffing something yesterday, perfect timing! Hope you had a great weekend!
Oh Lisa, I totally understand about something having to give. I applaud you for realizing this and for putting your family first. Change is hard, especially for one who enjoys routine (like me!). But, I'm sure you'll be in the swing of things soon. I'm excited to see what random linky parties you have up your sleeve and to check out all of the cool rub n buff projects tomorrow.
