Sweet Summertime Linky Party:: Week Seven

Last week marked our tenth year spending a summer weekend with two other families - our dear friends - at one of their family's homes at Lake Winnipesaukee.  Even if we had done nothing else this summer, I'm pretty sure my kids would say this was an awesome summer due soley to those three days!

The kids canoed….
went tubing….
hung out with their buddies….
kayaked…and tried to sink each other in the kayak….
we all oogled beautiful lakehouses….

took sunset cruises….
and wore tshirts to mark ten years of fun together.

Charlie and his Angels were there….
and toasts were made to MARK'S NEW JOB!!!!….
There was some serious karaoking….
tangoing….
and a special feast on Saturday night.
Six out of the eight kids had never had their own lobster before so this was a HUGE deal!
Laughter was plentiful….
and we felt so blessed for these friends that we consider family.
With mirth and laughter let old wrinkles come.

Are you enjoying this summer?  Tell me all about it - I'd love to hear!

Looks like a blast! I'm so sad to see summer come to an end - as these are the things great memories are made of, right?

OH I am so jealous right now! I grew up in NH, and miss all the lakes! I remember once I got to be a flower girl at a wedding that took place on an island on Squam Lake just northwest of Winnipesaukee.
Lobsters are a must try at least once in a lifetime. Especially your very own lobster! I always thought it was so fun to get a whole lobster to myself. You can get fresh lobster out here :(
Congrats on the new job! What a stress relief!
