Holy amazingness! I can’t get over all the great before and afters linked up in January!
Thank you to everyone who linked up last month. I hope you’ll come back next Friday for a February After Party! Any kind of before and after is welcome – a weight loss, home project, dramatic haircut – inspire and be inspired!
Lori at Mama With A Dash of Drama (love that blog name!!) shared an awesome aged wood table tutorial. Lori stained her table with tea bags and then treated it with vinegar that has been marinated with steel wool for two days (I know – crazy!) The end result is this beauty:
How about the bookshelf and desk transformation by Kristin of My Uncommon Slice of Suburbia? Everything Kristin touches turns to gold – look at this amazing before and after:
I love Dana’s creative projects at Make Them Wonder. Did you see this cool diamond wall treatment? Wowzers! It adds so much character to the space! Dana just bought her own miter saw this week and I can’t wait to see what’s up next for her after this awesomeness (no pressure, Dana!)
Last, one of my favorite before & after projects is from my lovely friend Suzanne of Privet and Holly. Suzanne’s goal for January was to launch a business that has been in the works with her mom, and they did it! After test driving their product in 2011 with friends and family, Suzanne and her mom opened the Privet and Holly Etsy Shop in January, selling the ingenious Card Keyper. I just love clever ideas like this!!
My own Card Keyper arrived in the mail this week and I’m impressed with the sturdy ring with it’s cute charms, and the tiny hole punch that accompanies it. Between me and my kiddos, I’m constantly searching for library and gift cards, on top of the grocery, CVS and Panera rewards cards that stuff up my wallet, and I’m fired up for this new system of keeping them on the Card Keyper. Best wishes to Suzanne and your mom for much success with your new business!
These are just a few of the fabulous projects linked up to January’s Before & After Parties; for more inspiration head over here. If you’ve been featured, you are of course welcome to post a button!
