This is a semi-from-scratch cake that is so moist and so delicious it doesn’t even need frosting!
It’s best served warm, so if you plan to freeze the leftovers, slice it into pieces first, and when defrosting, simply microwave each frozen piece for about 30 seconds and it’s ready to serve! You can also make and freeze the whole cake (wrap it tightly with plastic wrap and then tinfoil) – it’s great to have on hand when you have unexpected guests!

This looks so
moist and delicious,
Lisa! When I was
a kid, I used to like
to make chocolate mayo
cake…A recipe that my
grama used during WWII
when eggs were rationed.
The addition of the
sour cream reminded me
of that. I like the
idea that you serve it
warm…mmmm! My son loves
to cook and we are going
to do a dvd series together
this summer, since he has
advanced past the kid's
classes but isn't a teen
yet and can't take those.
We are making our own class : )
He will LOVE making your
recipe!
