Snowy New England Fun

If you're going to live in part of the country that has snow on the ground from December to March, you might as well make the best of it!

The steps were covered,
The sidewalks were, too;
The roof tops were gone
Except for the flue;
The bushes were there,
Just humps on the ground;
The grass was certainly
Nowhere to be found;
The little twigs quivered
On each willow tree,
 And swayed back and forth
And threw feathers at me.
The window was covered
With fluffy white flakes
Like frosting on one
Of my best birthday cakes.
O what a delight
 To awaken today
 And see sparkling white snow
In which to play.

Wishing you lots of fun this winter weekend, wherever you are!

How did I miss this post? What fun! The first image of your son going over the banister had me wondering if he was OK, but I can see it was all in good fun. I hope you had a wonderful weekend Lisa.
